Announcing the First Annual Calculus Pumpkin-Carving Contest!!

What: Carve a pumpkin with a combined Calculus and Halloween theme. Bring it in to class.

When: Bring your carved pumpkin in to school, ready to be shown off on Halloween (Tuesday October 31st).

Why: Fame. Glory. Prestige. Fun. Awards and Prizes!

How: Carve it at home or at a friend's house. Consider using precision tools for the detail work. There are awesome tools out there. Plan it out by drawing it out and making a stencil and using the tools. Plan it in advance but don't carve too far in advance because pumpkins don't always last so long once they are carved.
